I did this scratchboard of M.C. Escher's Bridge (don't know the exact name) he did sketches of this when he was getting away from the Nazi's in WW2...he drew the scenery on his travels. Anyway, I recreated it on scratchboard.

actually took about 3-5 hours I think..the art project was for my 1st year of art college..so that is almost 2 years ago. (I've graduated woohoo!)

What is a scratchboard?
You did a really nice job. I like it.

a scratchboard is a drawing board coated with white clay and a surface layer of black ink that is scratched or scraped away to produce an effect similar to engraving. All the white that you see, is what has been scraped off.
